Jesus lived a sinless life that exemplified obedience to His Father and service to others. He came to the world He created to save and serve people who misunderstood, hated, and rejected Him.
(See Phil. 2:5–11)
All of humanity is born in opposition to God because we are born in sin. Because God is Holy and Good, He must punish sin. Jesus suffered and died in our place - to bear the wrath of God intended for us.
(See 2 Cor. 5:21)
Jesus didn’t stay in the grave!
His resurrection proved His victory over sin and death. Anyone who comes to Jesus in faith, understanding their sinfulness and believing His death paid their debt, will be reconciled to God.
(See Rom. 6:5–11)

Jesus has provided a community of believers to show His love to us through like minded women. We are providing an opportunity for women to get to know that community here at SBC.
This particular event is a unique experience for women to connect in a familiar, yet interesting, way. Think “speed dating”, only our activity is called “speed mentoring”. There are women in our church who have “been there, done that.” We want to create an opportunity for women to find a friend they can confide in, or just hang out with. So that when we walk through a heavy burden or trial we will know someone who can encourage and support us through that time.
Don’t worry! We have taken the awkward part out of the activity by providing questions and topics for discussion. We will also enjoy dinner together with a couple of other activities centered around connections.
The event will take place April 13th from 5-7pm. $10. Mexican dinner bar included.
Sign up today!
