The Junior Church Ministry exists to show consistency, demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ, and bring joy to children while pointing them to Him. Our desire is not only to teach children about Jesus on Sunday mornings, but to invest in their lives in meaningful ways that extend throughout the week.

The Nursery Ministry exists to provide a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for our youngest children. At their earliest memories, we want them to experience the love of Jesus Christ through the way we care for them. Our desire is for every parent to walk into the nursery and immediately feel that this is a safe, intentional, and inviting place where their children are loved, valued, and well-cared for.

The SBC Kids Midweek Ministry exists to make a dynamic impact in the lives of children during the midweek by helping them understand Scripture and apply it to their everyday lives. This ministry is designed to combine biblical discipleship with engaging activities so that children are both learning the Word and experiencing the joy of living it out.

SBC Students

SBC Students is for children 7th through 12th grade! They meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm for a time of worship, bible stories, games and fun!

The Teen Ministry exists to invest in young people as they grow in their understanding of God’s Word and develop a faith that is both knowledgeable and lived out. Our desire is to equip teens not only with biblical knowledge but also with the ability to defend their faith, to see their leaders modeling Christ, and to experience discipleship through real relationships and intentional investment.

Revive & Thrive

Revive & Thrive is a Women’s Ministry Bible Study that meets the first Tuesday of every month here at the church for a time of worship, study, and prayer. All women are welcome to join!

The Women’s Ministry exists to cultivate intentional, Christ-centered relationships among the women of our church. Its mission is to disciple women through the Word of God, foster mentoring relationships, and encourage spiritual growth so that older women can teach and invest in younger women, as modeled in Scripture.

Moms Discussion Group

The MOMs discussion group meets the second Thursday of every month here at the church for a time of prayer, study, and fellowship with other moms. All moms are welcome to join! Childcare is provided.

Shelf Indulgence

Shelf Indulgence is a women’s book club that meets once a month to discuss a chosen book and enjoy fellowship with others. All women are welcome.

breakfast and bible study

Breakfast and Bible Study is a time for men of all ages to come together to share a meal before meeting to pray and study the Lord’s Word together. They meet once a month 8am at Joe Jo’s Restaurant on Garfield and 21 Mile, then come back to the church at 9am to begin their study. All men are welcome.

The Men’s Ministry exists to connect men with one another in intentional relationships so they can grow in fellowship, accountability, and discipleship. Our goal is to see men walk with Christ and with each other, not only in structured ministry settings, but also in everyday life.

The Young Adults Ministry exists to help young adults find community within Shelby Bible Church, discover purpose through serving, and develop a genuine sense of belonging during the uncertain transition from high school into established adulthood. Through biblical teaching, meaningful relationships, and faithful examples, this ministry seeks to strengthen their walk with Christ and help them navigate decisions about education, career, relationships, marriage, and adult life with wisdom and hope.

The Primetime Ministry exists to gather senior saints for encouragement, fellowship, discipleship, and prayer while pointing one another to the joy that is found in Christ. This ministry is not only about enjoying the current season of life but also about investing in the next generation, championing the work of the church, and holding up all ministries in prayer.

Growth Groups exist to help people grow in Christ together by creating intentional environments for discipleship, fellowship, pastoral care, and leadership development. Based on the pattern of the early church in Acts 2:42–47, these groups are designed to help believers live out the “one another’s” of the New Testament and embody biblical community.
