Our women's ministry is currently "under construction".  Starting in 1996 and ending in the early 2000s, we tried many different things.  We tried weekly and monthly Bible Studies, "interest groups" like scrapbooking, reading or exercising, and women in the church have informally organized and invited women to  different types of events like home Bible Studies, community Bible Studies and a women's night out, among other things.  But several years ago,  our ladies said they were so busy with so many things that there was a lack of participation and we determined at that time to take a break.

We are interested in pursuing activities and Bible Studies for the women again, but still need a team of dedicated ladies, whose heart and passion is for ladies, to share their ideas and help to plan events.  Please pray that God will give wisdom as we seek His guidance to help the women of our church by providing meaningful times of fellowship and safe places to connect. Currently we have informal groups meeting once a month, celebrating birthdays, having a small home Bible Study and doing what they can to bridge the gap.  We also endorse Heartfelt Family Services of Michigan a wonderful Counseling and Discipleship Ministry run by our own Deb Ives for people who are seeking more of Jesus in their lives.  If you are interested in learning more, please look under the Connect, Learn and Grow, Ministering in Our Community section.
