The deacons of our church are nominated and approved yearly by the members of Shelby Bible. We hold this position in high regard, as they are the men who work with our Pastor to help him lead us spiritually in the many decisions that must be made on a daily basis. Every deacon must meet the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3 before they are placed on the yearly ballot.

We encourage all of the SBC Family to daily uphold the deacons of our church in prayer as their job is one that affects all of the SBC family. They are the leaders of our church who help to make critical decisions on a regular basis. They make spiritual and financial decisions that help pave the way for the direction our church will go.
