As Sr. Pastor here at Shelby, it has been a privilege to serve with the wonderful people who are part of the Shelby family.  We are a community of people who are sinners, but have found hope and grace through God's gracious gift.  He has given us so much more than we deserve and we love to serve Him and one another in this special place.

It is hard to believe that February has come and gone, and that our series on the short book of Ruth is now over.  I trust that you took time to read this incredible story of Naomi, Ruth and Boaz and were able to see God's amazing care for His creation.  As Boaz redeemed Ruth and Naomi and they became the line into which the very Son of God would be born, so God was giving us a glimpse into our Kinsman/Redeemer who would one day come to this earth, and after 33 1/3 years would give His life in sacrifice for each of us - without hope apart from His amazing love and forgiveness freely offered to anyone who would come.  I trust you are enjoying His love today.
